What Spectra is

Spectra is a to-do app that uses AI to automatically turn a freeform note into organized to-dos and reminders, removing the need to manually sort or categorize tasks. As of 2026 it's free on iOS and Android.

Who makes it

Spectra is built and operated by a solo developer. Instead of a separate corporate site or call center, support is handled directly by email.

How the AI works

Notes you write are sent to an Anthropic Claude-based AI model, which breaks them into individual to-dos and suggests reminder times where relevant. The note text is not retained by the AI processing step after a result is generated. Server infrastructure and the database run on Supabase; social login uses Google and Apple. Principles

Spectra is not intended for medical diagnosis or treatment. It's designed to be easy to use for anyone — including people with ADHD tendencies — who finds sorting and categorizing tasks especially burdensome, without making clinical claims.
